Security
Security has been paramount since our establishment in 1975. We have worked with credit card issuers directly to maintain a strong commitment to safeguard your privacy and information. At Peggydale only a select few staff can access your personal information. We endeavour to ensure that every transaction you make at Peggydale will be 100% safe. Your credit card information is stored in a protected database which is separate from our web-page database and is not connected to the internet so can not be hacked into. We handle all credit card transactions ourselves directly, we do NOT use a 'third-party' card processor. We use the latest card processing technology and will not divulge your card details in any correspondence. All transactions through the shopping cart are stored on an SSL secured server. Any credit card details you enter will never be submitted via e-mail

Am I saving money?
We regularly check our prices against New Zealand retail prices and against our international competitors. We are committed to giving you the best value and our prices are, on average lower than you will find in local shops.

Are credit card transactions safe?We endeavour to ensure that every transaction you make with us will be safe. Our reputation and business success depends on it. Your card details will not be included within your shipped order. Our shopping cart system operates on an SSL secured server.

Which credit cards are accepted?We accept Visa, Mastercard, Bank card, Diners and American Express. We handle all transactions ourselves directly, we do NOT use a 'third-party' Internet card processor.

When is my credit card charged?Your credit card is debited only when your order is filled. If part of your order is placed on back order, you are charged only for the items we ship, plus the full cost of shipping. The items on back order will be shipped when available and your card debited for only the outstanding items.

What about currency?Peggydale can bring you low prices because we are based in New Zealand. Our prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) because this is the currency we trade with. We debit your credit card for the NZ$ price shown on our web page. This is converted to your local currency by your credit card issuer, NOT by us. There are no extra charges or commission. Your card statement will show the NZ$ amount that we debited and its equivalent in your local currency. Use the link to the Currency Converter to find approximately what you will be charged.

How is my order delivered?Most orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of being received at Peggydale. You will be notified by e-mail that your order has been shipped and your card debited. Orders shipped within New Zealand are sent by New Zealand Post and should arrive within 2-3 days. Outside New Zealand orders are also shipped by New Zealand Post using the economy rate (taking 3-4 weeks)

Can I cancel my order?You can cancel your order or part of it anytime prior to us shipping it, however most orders are dispatched within 24 hours of being received by us. To cancel your order you must telephone us and confirm the cancellation with an operator. Items on back order can also be cancelled by telephone or e-mail prior to their dispatch.

Can I return items?Yes, if you are unsatisfied a full credit will be given upon inspection of goods. You must first contact us at info@peggydale.co.nz
